Experience & qualifications you can trust.
For most of us, Health & Wellness are at the center of everything we do and who we are. It allows us to work, play, be happy, spend time with our children and gives us independence. Without it, they say, we don’t have much.
Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine & Health – I’ve devoted 17 years of my life to studying these professions to benefit clients and broaden my understanding of our amazing body.
Before studying TCM, I’d never had an Acupuncture treatment before. When I did, it opened up a new way of thinking to me, that injury, health & wellbeing could benefit from simple & natural solutions.
I qualified through the University of Technology, Sydney and earned a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002. I went to China as a part of my education through UTS and observed and practiced in Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital in Zhejiang Province. This included time spent in the fertility department. On returning, I got my Massage credentials and began private practice in North Sydney & the Northern Beaches.
My Fertility Journey
I struggled with falling pregnant for 9 months. I did use acupuncture to help manage the challenges, stress & fatigue that come with trying to conceive, and I was fortunate.
I was a self-confessed work-a-holic, loved my job and was good at helping other people reach a balance in their life. But it just wasn’t happening for me. I asked for help and Acupuncture became part of my fertility plan. A lot of the TCM strategies of nourishment and relaxation made sense to me.
I had a relatively normal pregnancy, besides some morning sickness, reflux & heartburn and used Natural Therapies and Acupuncture to manage those discomforts. I used acupuncture for my labour preparation and again was fortunate to have a natural delivery. My son was born in 2014 and my, how time has flown!
Helping women get the ultimate result.
I look forward to working with clients who seek natural assistance when it comes to fertility, pregnancy & post natal support. My aim is to help women get to a place of contentment, starting with their health and wellbeing.
Along the way, seeing clients relax, feel better, more energetic and happier is all part of the journey.
I look forward to hearing your story.
